Sisters are special

One of my favorites from our weekend camping trip.  We found sunshine, only a few sprinkles, and enjoyed every minute of our family time together :)  A few more favorites to come...after the laundry!

2 days full

As spring break began...

2 days in and 2 days full!

There were...

 

photography lessons to practice (non-movable subjects preferred)...

 fresh snowfalls to enjoy...

 laundry helpers to contain...

 birds to spy on...

 smiles to capture...

 monkeys to find...

 frogs to observe...

 mud to enjoy...

 giggles to catch...

 wild animals to tame...

 muscles to display...

 naps to revel in...

 boots to anchor her down...

 piggybacks to receive in gratitude...

 stories to hear...

 daddies to assist...

 puppies to kiss...

 newborn calves to check out...

ears to scratch...

 sunsets to see...

 fingers to wave...

 spring to notice...

 sunsets to catch...

 free ice cream to make messes with...

 cousins to push...

 nature to adventure in...

 trees to conquer...

 small details to observe...

 vistas to capture and stand in awe of...

 and sisters to snuggle!

Special January memories

 January brought a special visit from our wonderful Wisconsin family!  We enjoyed every minute - meeting and snuggling with roly poly Megan, getting in sister and auntie time, cousin time in abundance, and a special couple of weeks overall!  Enjoy this picture heavy post :)

 Lots of time in the sunshine - what a gift for January!

Mallory and Lana were LOVING this ride!

 Knees up as high as they could go, but still a fun ride :)...Gramma, we need an adult sized one ;)

 Since this picture's been taken a few changes have occurred on the yard!  The septic system had to be replaced so the fire pit has been removed to be rebuilt elsewhere.  The nut tree is gone, replaced by a new pergola, and the metal tent frame is also gone, replaced by the new timber construction pergola.

A special night of bowling with everyone

 And an afternoon trip to the Rotary trail to enjoy biking, resting,

 every second of sun ray and warmth possible,

 cousin time yet again,

 and even trying out biking without 4 wheels!

 This little lady got a lot of snuggles and loving, but who could resist those double chins, coos, and smiles??!
