On the Saturday of our camping trip, we went to a parade in Port Townsend. It was beautiful weather, and the parade featured lots of marching bands, lots of princesses, firetrucks, cars, dancing flowers etc. We quite enjoyed the start of the Rhododendron festival!
For the rest of the weekend, we enjoyed hiking,
exploring some WWI bunkers built facing the ocean,
taking a dolly on a hike,
flying the kite in the stiff breeze,
getting good and dirty,
playing in the sand,
relaxing,
watching the boats on the ocean,
sharing laughs together,
and a lot of family time.
Brynlie thoroughly enjoyed the pudding dessert on this evening :)
