Glimpses of December

At the beginning of the month, we had a Japanese exchange student for 12 days.  We enjoyed going out together, showing her a small bit of Canadian life, making cookies, and doing 'normal' family things together.  Brynlie still thinks we're going to pick Minori up at school again, at any moment!

Days spent crafting together, colouring picture, working on Christmas cards for Sister Made, and making cards for special occasions :)

Enjoying learning and performing Christmas songs, reminding us of what Christmas is truly about.
"For gracious and good is the Lord, His mercies to us never end.
His faithfulness true to His Word, through ages unending extends."
We are truly thankful for the gift He's given us in His Son.

We also realized how small our 'big' girl is :)  But she sure enjoys singing, with Gramma directing, and with the KG class!

We went to another Christmas concert last night - a birthday present for me.  It was fascinating as the instruments were very unusual - 4 beautiful harps, 2 psalteries, a variety of unique percussion instruments, and other medieval 'hurdy gurdies'.  The sound Winter Harp made was beautiful!

And of course, we enjoyed the beauty of snow, both inside and out :)

Greetings from our snow family to yours!
They're looking a bit more sad today - the only one standing is Chelsie :)
