Here we go!

While the preferred method is still crawling, the first steps have occurred! Willetta was the proud witness and Chelsie proudly did some more for Brian and I today :) As my dad says, my 'sedentary' life is now over - like it was so sedentary!

Cookbooks and strollers

Exciting news! The cookbooks arrived and I'm so excited! Many

hours of work and they look great :) Check it out - 3 heavy boxes.
AND we got a new stroller today - a lightweight, compact folding stroller with a basket and higher handles than most umbrella strollers :). Thanks to Auntie Melissa for braving the border and picking it up ;)! Breyden, we're looking forward to using this in China in only a few weeks!

Bookworm Extraordinaire

Not a day goes by where Chelsie does not enjoy reading at least one book. She'll come to me now if I'm sitting at the computer, hold up a book, and say 'boo?' with her big eyes pleading to read it to her. Even at this moment I'm attempting to multitask as we just finished a book and she's ready for me to read it for the 3rd time :)
We have several collections of her books in baskets or rubbermaids in several places which she'll unfailingly go to and pull them all out, pick the one she wants and read it. The little pointy finger points to things she notices, and she 'reads' it out loud to herself.
Very precious. Perhaps she's related to a certain L. Overduin jr?! Enjoy these couple of pictures of our sweet bookworm.
