July

July is always a crazy month for us, as we pick, ship and sell a lot of raspberries and blueberries in a short time!  Here it is in review:

Canada Day - we enjoyed a parade despite a lot of hungry mosquitoes.  Gramma had bought these adorable hats and all of these kids were decked out and CUTE!
 The kids loved the horses...
and the marching bands are always my favorite :)
But this princess was definitely the cutest thing! ;)
A stop afterwards for playtime and ice cream :)
Grandpa had a big birthday!  We're thankful he could turn 60 and that we could enjoy a lovely evening with him.  His youngest granddaughter (and her parents :)) even surprised him with a visit!
And then we have
LIFE ON THE FARM
We were there daily, sometimes staying until after 8...a couple nights we camped on the yard as it was easier than going home!  These kids have so many amazing memories...Now that berry season is officially finished, here are some pictures :)  Pictures of the farm and fruit are found at www.berrybountyfarms.com.

Skelter rides
Lunch on the Farm - a day where visitors were welcome to buy lunch,
 pick a few berries,
 ride the skelters,
throw a wet sponge at a target or two,
 enjoy a hay ride,
sit on an old tractor,
see the juicer working and buy some jam or fruit :)

Chilliwack Opportunity Society also came for a visit and enjoyed the farm :)

Several evenings were spent like this...
 with hockey or soccer,
 snuggle time,
 kitty time,
 scary goal tenders,
 field hockey,
 hanging out,
 more kitty time,
 more snuggle time,
even more kitty time :)
 and more snuggle time...
And after eating a LOT of blueberries every day, this one needed to get clean.  She always manages to get the floor and counter cleaned too!

We can thank and praise our heavenly Father for an abundant raspberry and blueberry harvest!  While it's a crazy month, we enjoy the family time very much, and can enjoy our 'summertime' of August even more :)

Another special birthday in July :)  This fuzzy young lady turned 4!  We love her daily energy and sparkly eyes, smiles and delightful accented English :)
She had decided she wanted a doll with hair and we were happy to please her :)

These two enjoyed a picnic at her birthday party :)
Little Miss Sunshine got a sunshine birthday party :)
complete with helpers for blowing the candles!

And in all things we can praise Him, for His goodness and mercies were new every day!

Summer begins!

On the first official day of summer holidays, we headed out for a hike.  The berries aren't quite ripe enough to take over our time, so we enjoyed a day out :)

Thanks to Leanne O for telling us about this trail!  It was the perfect length for these two and we enjoyed it immensely.

My travelling companion in a selfie :)  Hard to do with a big camera lol!  She LOVES being in the pack, but did not keep her hat on and since I couldn't reach her to put it back on, she went hatless!

This waterfall has height!  From the highway, we could see it coming from even higher up.
 Snack time
On the way back down, Brynlie pointed out every rock and root I might trip over.  Very thoughtful of her :D

After our hiking adventure, we headed to town where we ran into 2 aunties in 2 different places!  Lunch was lovely, Auntie Melissa

We enjoyed watching this game of follow the leader.  One goose cleared a path through the lily pads for the rest!
This turtle was suntanning - notice his back legs sticking out? :)

A wonderful way to start the summer break!

3 cutie pies

Once again, I've taken LOTS of pictures and posted none! :S  We're getting ready for berry season, during which I will completely disappear from here for awhile...that, along with end of year field trips and busy-ness, keeps the days flying by!
Some pictures - the reason you look here :D

This cutie pie has passed 6 months now.  She's working on her sitting skills, but is like her older sisters - relaxed about such milestones.  She is a sweetie pie!  Tears means something is wrong (or a stranger might be nearby).

Are you this flexible??

She loves to sleep completely covered up.  This day she basked in the sun streaming in through the window :)

A visit to Daddy at work :)

This bigger cutie pie is great company...don't you love her strength training form?
She was excited to go 'hiking' with Mommy to Bridal Falls and declared as we loaded back into the van that she wasn't very tired yet...Next time twice I think!
I tried something new with my camera and was rewarded with some beautiful shots.  For the most part I am LOVING manual mode, but the learning continues!  For comparison - top is a sloooow shutter speed, bottom is 'normal'.

A couple more action shots of Bob who is happy to go with Mommy wherever our ventures take us.  Her favorite place - getting samples at Costco :)

At the berry farm - berries are almost ready!  Pre-order here. :)

Hanging out in the sun for a few minutes on a cool day.

And swimming -she's never one to resist this!

This biggest cutie pie loved the chance to try her hand at this :)  She's almost done Grade 1!!  She has a small school garden and was hamming for the camera with this juicy worm :D

It was great to join her on her class field trip, even if it involved bug catching ;)

She LOVED getting a chance to try her hand at feeding Lana.  Pretty special!
SO blessed with our 3 girls.  All unique, all delightful, all giggles and fun.
Wonderfully made for sure!  God is good!
