It's happening!

Remember this post?

Well, it's officially done! Our house is sold! I love how the pictures show the contrast of the seasons (and the fixed birdhouse!!)

It's a little bittersweet...a lot of fond memories here as we started our married life here, renovated completely, and brought home a sweet little girl to this house. But we're moving on. It'll be a busy time ahead as we're off to Florida for 2 weeks in March and we have to be out by the end of March! So yes, the packing has begun :) We hope to build a new home so we'll be renting for a few months in between.

We've been loading up on boxes...yes, Chelsie is in there, somewhere!
Did you know boxes are made to play in too? These two were too cute squished in this box enjoying each others' company!!

Our backyard will be moving with us in a way - the sandbox and swing set come along...another blessing as they've been thoroughly enjoyed, even this past week!

And a touch of spring to finish this post :) I'll have to plant more daffodils and tulips at our new home! I'm hoping my tulips open before we leave so I can enjoy them once more. Until then, these daffodils make me smile!

PS...Anyone know the type of large tree at the right in the top 2 pictures? We love it and want to get another one!

Cousin trouble

Two cousins enjoying first some time inside, then some sunshine together as we waited for Kayla to come off the bus yesterday :) What a pair!!!

Who needs a double stroller? ;)

Look! Another airplane!

And a project with Kayla for the 100th day of school...

Who can resist this goofy smile? Love her!

To work and picnic :)

An absolutely beautiful day! We first puttered around home catching up on everyday tasks, then we visited the ducks at the library and headed to Gramma's to check out what Daddy was doing while we enjoyed a 'picnic' in the back of the Envoy :) - a great place to watch the action!
Watching the digger at work...

with Les and Tyler in it

Braving a dump truck ride with Daddy :) We even honked the horn!

hard working man...love the grimace of concentration!
