Our field trip

The much-anticipated day came.

A FIELD TRIP to the FIRE STATION!

Yep, huge excitement!

It was topped off with icing - a ride in a school bus to get there!

Climbing aboard, and off we go!  Unfortunately, amidst the excitement and packing for a day away with errands afterwards, I forgot my camera :S.  Thank you Auntie Trichelle for taking 

these special pictures for us :)

 All aboard and headed to the station - the one really close to our house!

 Fireman JB showed us how he looked in full gear and that we shouldn't be afraid of him if we ever had a fire in our house.

 We each got to sit in the driver's seat of the big fire truck, but Chelsie didn't want to honk the very loud horn, or try the siren.

 Look, Mom, this tire's almost as big as me!

 A special treat from fireman DK was a full sized chocolate bar - WOW!

A special day out with lots of learning.  Preschool sure is fun!

This time

Mom, can I come along?  I almost fit in here!

Nope, sorry.  This time, just Mommy and Daddy are going...

to notice the flowers,

 to enjoy the palm trees and warm air,

 to notice the flowers and the blue sky,

 to watch the sun set,

 to zipline across a canyon,

 to climb to the top of Coba,

 to show our muscles at the top,

to enjoy a Mayan meal and feel giant next to Mayan ladies,

 to watch the many iguanas,

to enjoy the Brazilian restaurant,

 and relax in each other's company,

 to float down the lazy river in a tube,

 to be amazed at another sun set by the Master Painter,

 to notice the many beautiful flowers,

 to watch our Japanese dinner being cooked :),

 to relax in the sunshine,

  and enjoy the snorkeling and the ocean breeze.

Maybe next time, Brynlie.  This time was for us.

Down at the river

On Saturday afternoon, an hour of sunshine was enjoyed at the river.  All of these pictures were taken by Dad M as I was home with napping Brynlie.
