the happenings

To add to The Gist of things happening around here, this is the picture Leanne O missed which was taken on my camera.  Gramma learning to drive the Ranger with 4 or 5 riders joining her :)
I've packed up my van and headed to the Agassiz Farmer's Market 3 times now...a few shots of that, also for everyone at the farm who hasn't seen how we look there :)

Our booth (this time next to the hedge - it varies).  The mosquitoes really liked this area :S
One of my two wonderful helpers.  Wouldn't you want to buy berries from her?!
And the view from under our tent.  This was Thursday afternoon - a nice busy time helped us sell out before we were finished at 6!

To add to last week's berry business, we were blessed to have VBS.  Chelsie got to join in for the first time and she learned an amazing amount in the short space of a fun week!
Friday they had a short program for the parents and, as usual, Chelsie sang her heart out :)

"Billions of Dead Things buried in rock layers...evidence of a world wide flood"
Chelsie's favorite line of another song:  "Adam is my ancestor and not a chimpanzee!"  (*giggle)

Tyler ready for the next song

"Hallelujah!!"  I enjoyed this picture as James is beside her and I don't think they know that their moms are cousins and grew up together :)

THANKS to the ladies who organized, worked hard on, and did an excellent job with this VBS :)

3 of my favorite ladies :)

A week later, but still so proud of my little sister!
Congratulations, Jodene, on doing so well in high school :)
We wish you God's most abundant blessings as you start university.
As Chelsie learned from you this week, "We love you to infinity and back ;) "
*Even if you're goofy at times ;)

Stepping back in time

We picked up a few 'vintage' dresses awhile ago for free!  Chelsie has been wearing one most days...and I found this the other day and felt like I was stepping back in time :)

We also had a very special dinner guest the other night.  It was wonderful to both see our pastor and visit with him.  Thanks, Mrs. Joan, for the very special gift for Chelsie's graduation - she's had it out quite a bit, enjoying the challenge of dressing the bear :)
Please keep praying for Pastor and Joan as they continue to deal with her cancer.
We've also seen a lot of this lately - this big girl loves to read and the little girl loves to be near her big sister.  I love seeing them like this :)

More pictures to come soon of our trip to Alberta this past weekend.  Enjoy the sunshine!
