Putting on Victoria Day

Fresh cut grass...fresh air...sound of water moving past...several beautiful ponds to enjoy...and a chatterbox who enjoyed every minute...If you've never been to TapIns at Cultus Lake, I highly recommend the trip! We go every year. When we arrived on Victoria Day, it was pouring rain, so we first enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. By then the weather had cleared and we stayed dry during out tapping round :). The little girl loved golfing with her 'cwub' and had a lot to say.

You can't blame her form! ;)

Daddy's might look a bit better though :) Golfing with Chels was great for the ego...no matter where you shot, she'd go 'Ooooooooooh, good one!' or 'Ohhh, good job, Daddy!' every time! We didn't end up keeping score the whole time, but we came out feeling like winners! Thanks, sweetie!
Chelsie's directions for golfing:
Make sure you move the flag out of the way...just be careful when it's bigger than you!

Attempt to hit the ball with all your might...

And if all else fails, just put it in by hand...then you can cheer with the rest of them!

She successfully placed her ball (by hand ;)) in 17 of the 18 holes - not bad for a 2.5 year old!

'Helping' Mom - notice how her club will help my ball go in? :) Gotta love the thought put into that!

By the way, golfing's pretty hard work...you have to take regular resting breaks (in the middle of the green if possible!)
After golfing we took a stroll to find the ducks we'd seen from the restaurant...
My handsome man :)

This place is absolutely beautiful - from the green green grass, to the landscaping and the ponds, to the waterfall tricking down...
to the reflection in the still water...

to the cute little girls wandering around...
to the beautiful family of ducks...L, you thought you had your hands full? This mama has 10 all the same age! :D She wasn't so impressed when I tried to get close...

And to end the day, we caught a beautiful picture of Mt Cheam as the sun set...it's good to live in this beautiful valley!

I just remembered I was half way through my comment the other day when I was severely interrupted.

You have some beautiful pictures of an oh, so special memory. Wow. What a clown that little sweetie is. I want to give her a big squeeze! :)

Want to try it with 6 kids one time? :)

Love you ever so much.
