This afternoon we went for a ride through the villages in the nearby countryside for a couple of hours. (Chelsie and Breyden were sleeping at Auntie Trichelle's house.) Although it compares a little to Mexico, this was another completely different type of living again. The contrast between the living in town in homes or apartments and the poor villages are very interesting. These are just a couple of shots Dave and I took...not many people were in the fields because of the rain recently, but we did see some ox carts, mule carts, and many people interested in these foreigners coming through their out-of-the-way villages. These people would be living a subsistence living - everything coming from their fields, animals, or their earnings from selling.
