Wednesday morning we flew back to Beijing where we checked into the Red hotel for 2 days so we could see some more of China's more famous sites.
Driving past the Olympic Bird's Nest in Beijing. We also saw the water cube, media center, and several other buildings we weren't sure what they'd been used for.
Several pictures of our time at the Badaling section of the Great Wall. Chelsie was not impressed to be riding on Brian's shoulders or in my arms for most of it, but it was too hard for her to walk with all of the steps and steepness. When we did put her down, she was thrilled to be walking. She tired out quickly in the heat (her arms got burnt even), so teddy appeared on the Great Wall :) As you can see in the pictures, the view was not clear but we could still see the Wall going for km's! It was pretty warm for hiking, but it was amazing to be at the Great Wall.
